Your vehicle’s suspension was designed as a compromise between capacity and comfort. So when you carry heavy loads or pull a trailer, the rear springs can be pushed to their limit resulting in excessive bounce, roll, sagging ride height, and an overall feeling of instability.
MAD Helper springs are progressively wound steel coil springs fitted inside the OE rear coil spring or next to the leaf spring if it is a van. As the load imposed on the suspension increases, the springs work together and quickly become stiffer, providing the extra load capacity, so reducing the amount of sag and improving the ride.
On a very small number of cars, the helper spring fits around a MacPherson strut or a coil over set up, producing the same effect.
MAD Helper springs are progressively wound steel coil springs fitted inside the OE rear coil spring or next to the leaf spring in vans.
MAD coil springs are high-quality components and Approved by TÜV and RDW, MAD coil springs meet the highest international automotive requirements meaning they are high-quality and reliable.
