For example, your preferences are remembered to only show you information that is of interest to you. Another advantage is that you do not have to log in every time or always have to enter the same information when you visit a particular website.
Why do we inform you about the use of cookies?
On 25 may 2018, the Data Protection Act was enacted in the United Kingdom. This means, among other things, that certain cookies may only be placed with the explicit consent of the internet user. That is why we let you know that our website uses cookies and what the reason is.
Google Analytics

On the basis of this information, we gain insight into the surfing and visiting behaviour of our visitors and where possible we can optimize our website for you. The information that Google collects is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address will not be provided.
